New on the Floor: 5 Axis Machining Center

Peterson Machining, Inc. has added a 65 DMG MonoBlock. This 3rd generation MonoBlock machine is the culmination of over 25 years of 5 axis machining technology. Optionally equipped with a work piece capacity of Dia./Height 840/500 mm (33.070/19.685 inches), machine travels of X/Y/Z- 28.9 x 25.6 x 22.0 and a 47 horsepower 18,000 rpm spindle. This machine can meet the most demanding simultaneous 5 axis needs. Leading edge volumetric accuracies with Heidenhain scales on all 5 axis' and optional 3D quickSET, so the machine can automatically check and correct itself. PMI Purchases Boulder, Colorado Commercial Facility

Peterson Machining, Inc. recently purchased the commercial building located at 6661 Arapahoe Road in Boulder, Colorado. The property overlooks the beautiful Front Range Mountains west of Boulder and is home to several local businesses. Peterson Machining has occupied the property for 21 years and has plans to expand its square footage inside the facility.
